Nova Scotia Deer zones Zone 101
Deer Management Zone 101, Nova Scotia
Coming soon to Huntable. Nova Scotia is the next province in the app. These pages are here now so you can plan the season; join the Nova Scotia list to hear when it’s ready.
Deer Management Zone 101 covers about 9,348 km² of Nova Scotia, around Clark's Harbour, Digby, Lockeport, Shelburne and Yarmouth.
About 29% of the zone is provincial Crown land, where you can hunt in season under the general rules. The rest is mostly private: the right to hunt doesn’t include the right to enter it, so ask the owner first.
Deer zones matter most for antlerless deer: you can only take an antlerless deer in Zone 101 with an antlerless draw permit for Zone 101. Antlered deer seasons are the same province-wide.
